As promised i'm back to share some of my page layouts with you.

Today it's the turn of the Webster's Pages Color Crush.

When I first started it was just as case of adding a bit of washi top and bottom, maybe a few stickers or sticky notes to cheer up the page, And that's pretty much how it's stayed, some weeks it's more, some less.

It started off as my first daily planner but I changed it to a mood diary/journal when I got the Arc, I figured that tracking my moods may help me to figure out what triggers the low patches of depression, or just getting feelings down on paper and out of my system, and I wanted it separate from my main planner.

I try and make the pages happy, cheery, positive {obviously before the week starts and i'm writing in it}, in the hope it triggers a smile if i'm feeling blue. 

So do you keep a mood diary? I'd love to see.

MIA but i'm back... {with yet more planners!! *blush*}

If you have followed any of my previous blogs you will know and understand that the MIA thing happens sometimes, It is partly coz i'm perhaps too busy but more likely it's coz i'm low/depressed and can't face anything.

I am trying to post once a week, mainly over the weekends, but if I miss a week {or 2} in future, you know why!

So what's been happening since my last post..

Well I got one of these {dirt cheap on amazon}

I had been lusting after one of these for months, ever since I saw it first previewed back in Jan @ the winter CHA show, and before I got hooked into the planner world... Hmmm maybe this was the trigger that got me interested in planners again! Anyways I digress. It was obviously not released till recently so I had to get one, especially at the bargain price of £13.

When it arrived however, it was a little damaged, and that kinda took the shine off for a while, So to try and ignite some happiness back in it I made an alternative cover.

I also changed the rings for some Arc one's I sprayed gold, as the blue ones that came with it were kinda flimsy, so much so that 2 of them were split on arrival!

Still it wasn't making me happy, so again I got to messin' and made it a cool faux leather case

And to be fair it was working a little better for me, I was starting to feel it, the happiness was slowly coming and then...........THIS HAPPENED

Oh and more happiness for the Happy Planner as I de-disc'ed it and punched it in the Kikki and to say I am uber happy is an understatement!

I know doing this isn't for everyone, It's a fairly tight fit, as you can see I moved the tabs from the side to the top so they didn't get bent when I closed the kikki. But I am LOVING IT ♥
Gonna do a proper set up vid when I get 5 minutes.

And lastly my faux malden from ali express arrived {not taken pics yet but do have an upcoming vid of me unboxing it}.
And I received my very first handmade traveler's notebook/faux dori or as my lovely american friend Johnna called hers, An "A'dori'ble"

Her, her sis Darcie and friend Diane were all on a craft tour from the US and I was lucky enough to grab an afternoon with them while they were visiting Bath.
I was showered with a mass of lovely US goodies, cute pens, target goodies, washi, you name it. I had an amazing afternoon with them all and will cherish the memories.

We have been online friends for a few years, So to meet in person was a thrill, I kinda wished the day didn't have to end.

So yeah, That's been it.

I will start showing some of my layout's/ spreads whatever you wanna call 'em next week, and I will try my best not to buy any more planners.. Well not this month anyway!

Planner Addiction Pt2

Hay Planner Addicts

Here I am back with the remainder of my planner collection.

The teal ColorCrush came next as it popped up for sale on one of the groups rather cheap and I couldn't pass it up. I separated the contents from the stripe one which holds the diary & this one houses the rest {lists, plans, inspiration}

I also picked up all 3 of these in my local charity shops, The first is an unbranded pocket and the 2nd two are both Filofax Dominos A5&Personal{both of which were pretty beat up but I had a plan in mind for all 3, watch out for upcoming planner alchemy post lol} I didn't need any of them but I couldn't leave them being unloved {I think I have a problem....shhhhhhh don't tell on me}

I also rediscovered a couple of planners I had from last year and had totally forgotten about

Both Filofax Classic/Cross {pocket&personal}. The personal is being transformed atm as it was in bad shape and the pocket i'm using as a spare to hold excess pages.

And so to my final 3

This beauty is a Malden Zip compact and it's my new purse

I've not set up the organiser part yet as I literally just got it {again via a FB group, gotta love them enabling ladies} But i'm thinking just a month to view diary, to do lists and some note paper should suffice. 

I also have his little nephew 

Pocket Malden which I got for a steal on ebay. As of yet he has no purpose other than to look handsome.

And last but by no means least

I got so despondent with missing out on the large one's all the time I decided to get the smallest and work my way up lol

She is beautiful and has made me want the big one even more {if thats possible!!}

And that's it {for now} My little collection has grown rather quickly in the past couple of months, it most certainly is an addiction, but one that is slowly but surely keeping me on track.

Is this normal? Are you all as addicted as me? How quickly did your collection grow?

Planner Addiction Pt1

Hay Planner Peeps

Today I thought I would share some of my rapidly growing planner collection.

So the first one I actually got was a Heidi Swapp memory planner

Just before catching the planner bug I was getting into pocket page scrappin and all I kept seeing was this planner I had to have, but when it arrived I thought it far too pretty to start mid way through April and also I didn't wanna mess it up till i'd found my planner style, Needless to say atm it sits in my raskog patiently waiting for next year to begin, so it can fulfill it's destiny lol

So my first proper planner was the Arc from Staples

I got the whole shebang, punch, covers, dividers, pockets, sticky's, diary and note papers. I had seen the Happy Planners from MAMBI, but at the time you couldn't get them here in the UK.

I put it all together and started using it, trying to find my page layout style and what worked for me. 

Next came the Webster's Pages Color Crush

I got the Teal & White stripe with a little white & gold accessories pouch

Again it was just one of those things I had seen in the US and lusted after so when it became available here I just had to have one. No idea what I would use it for but it was pretty and I didn't need a reason lol

I actually started using it almost straight away as a sort of mood diary.

{for those that don't know me I suffer with depression, have done for many years and was very shy about it for a very long time but now i'm trying to be more open, to talk about and in turn beat it, or at the very least keep it at bay}  I figured the mood diary would be a good way to look back and see there have been good days when I am feeling like everything is dark and bleak.

So as you can see already it's only been a couple of months and already I am totally addicted to planners, I joined every facebook group I could find, started a instagram account to stalk fellow planner addicts, watched a bunch of utubes and this is how I discovered my unicorn.

Now I don't yet own this magnificent creature but boy do I know I will be at peace when I do.

 This is the Large size personal gold kikki k, it's the one with the pretty black interior.

I have already missed out on 2 of these due to lacking funds {at the time} and then not being quick enough in one of the FB groups {OMG was I kicking myself} So if you know anyone selling one at a reasonable price {some are just soooo silly money} then please get in touch. I'm hoping it will be 3rd time lucky!

A Mint A5 Lovedoki/ Dokibook

This was bought from China as I had seen a few of the one's with the elastic closure but none with the popper fastening,  I had a rather tight budget at the time and this was very cheap {in my opinion} 

As you may tell I have a real thing for teal/mint so this looked like a good buy.

When it arrived I have to say I was very chuffed with the quality.

WELCOME

Hey, and welcome to my new blog.

I'm Nicky but peeps call me Minxy.

I'm very new to the whole planner community {about 2 months in}

And this is the start of me attempting to get myself organised !!!

I have the memory of a goldfish and was fed up of having post it's stuck around my home so I opted for a planner to keep me on the straight and narrow after seeing so many pretty one's shared online.

Well that's the plan anyway!!

I've joined pretty much every planner group on FB and I follow a ton of instagrammers for inspiration.

I've also set up a new utube channel under the same name where I will attempt to share things in more detail. 

I hope you will join me on my planner journey and maybe I can inspire you to be more organised too!
